Transition Services: Here at Fort Campbell we treat ACAP as a 3 step process. The first step is to attend a mandatory pre-separation briefing that is offered here in the center two times a day, five days a week at 0830 and 1300. The second step is to attend our Transition Assistance Program (TAP) Workshop, Veterans Benefits (VA) Workshop and the Disabled Transition Assistance Program (DTAP) Workshop. Finally, the third step is coming back in to the center and working one-on-one with your ACAP counselor to put your employment plan in to action.

Support Services: The FERP and Spouse Employment Partnership (ASEP). The FERP provides information and services in the areas of career planning and job search through workshops, seminars, Army Spouse Career Assessment Toll and one-on-one counseling. Services: The Fort Campbell Transition Center is responsible for separating all Soldiers (All types of separations including, but not limited to, ETS, Disability Separations, Retirement, Disability Retirement, and Administrative Separations (Chapters)) located at Fort Campbell or within the Fort Campbell geographical area of responsibility. Separation orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis. Services: All Soldiers arriving to Fort Campbell must sign in at the 1st Lieutenant J. Robert Kalsu Replacement Company with the following forms: DA Form 31, PCS orders, personnel file (201), medical records and dental records. Soldiers reporting between the hours 5:30AM and 5PM must be dressed in the Army Combat Uniform.

Lending Closet

Services: The Lending Closet provides kitchen items during transition for 30 days, such as pots, pans, dishes, irons, ironing boards, car seats, baby cribs, sleeping mats, high chairs, tables, chair and electrical appliances.

Backdoor Boutique

Services: The Armed Services YMCA operates the Backdoor Boutique, a free program which allows active duty Soldiers (E5 and below) and their Families to obtain household necessities free of charge. The boutique includes household items such as small appliances, furniture, bedding, home décor, clothing, shoes and toys.

To benefit from the Fort Campbell Sponsorship Program, it is essential that Soldiers complete DA Form 5434 (Sponsorship Program Counseling and Information Sheet) immediately upon receiving notification that they are being assigned to Fort Campbell.
